lyrics
Narrator: After much hardship the people of Arconia have rebuilt their kingdom on a new planet. The recently constructed castle is astir. The servants bustle about frantically preparing the royal ballroom for a feast being held tonight honoring Captain Saturn and all that we have endured on our journey so far. But although the grand dining room is filled with commotion the halls of the palace are deathly silent, except for the faintest sound of footsteps tapping in the night.
Two shadowy figures creep about the chambers. One is slender and wiry while the other is very short with long pointy ears protruding out of the side of his head.
The Goblin: Ahhhhh; C’mon Boss…
Narrator: The short one says.
The Goblin: …Lurking around like this in the dark is given me the creeps!
Song-less Count: Silence you buffoon! You’ll alert the guards!
Narrator: The tall figure gives his dopey partner a disciplinary slap.
The Goblin: Youch! Ah; my head!
Song-less Count: Listen you dimwit. I’m paying you to help me overthrow this inutile kingdom; not give oration. Silence!
Narrator: A sliver of moonlight pierces through a window onto the lanky figure’s face revealing two duplicitous eyes which are immediately recognizable; for these eyes can only belong to non-other than…the Song-less Count. For generations the Song-less Count has served in the Queen’s court. Awaiting an opportunity to steal the throne and fulfill his wicked dream of enslaving the Arcronians. And tonight, as the celebration carries on downstairs, the Grand Mercury sits unguarded in the magical chamber; ready to be destroyed!
Song-less Count: Ugh. Just listen to them down there Goblin. Their merriment is an assault to my evil nature. Well, enjoy it while you can fools. For under my rule this infernal racket will be silenced!
Narrator: And so the Song-less Count and the Goblin lurk through the castle halls. Hidden under the cloak of moonlight.
